Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great MMORPG game! highly addictive!!
I'm not a fan of RPG games, but World of Warcraft changed my whole idea about what RPG gaming is all about! Great game! You will never get bored! new challenges every time you login!

The Quests are the most amazing thing about this game!

but it's a highly addictive games! while playing it hours seems line minutes!!

NOTE: THERE IS TWO VERSIONS OF THIS GAME:
1. EURO VERSION (CAN PLAY ON EU SERVERS ONLY) which is good for people who has good connection to the region

2. US VERSION (CAN PLAY ON US SERVERS ONLY) if u have a good connection to the US buy this version

For Middle-East users i would recommend the EU version better connections for most countries

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One word of warning
If you download the trial as I did direct from Blizzard, please note that you will *not* be able to use this retail pack, as the download is for the USA servers only, and this retail pack is for the European servers only.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - read this if your thinking of buying WoW
While most people including myself have given this game five stars some people did pick up on the "cartoony" graphics as an issue. To be honest the cartoon like graphics i think are great. I dont want a RPG to look exactly like the world i live in now. The WoW looks and is a fantasy world and its a hell of alot of fun.
So why is this game so great.
Well first the world is huge. This is the biggest RPG world on sale at the moment. You will have encountered to RPG that even comes close to this size. For example i've been playing for 5 months and i've only seen half of the WoW. I'm still exploring. Theres so much fun in the half i have seen so maybe i wont do anymore exploring for while.. i dont know.
second. When you cross from part of the world and into another he crossing is seamless. you will encounter no loading, no break-up no nothing. Your play is not interrupted in any way whatsoever. The WoWs seamlessness is what sets it apart from other RPGS. This is probably the reason why its the most popular RPG.
Third. There are over 2000 quests in the WoW. I said before i'm in my 5th month playing and i must have done about 150 of them. You'll never run out of things to do and you dont need to wait until your a high enough level because their are always groups who'll let you join.
Fourth. The number of character choices available for me was perfect. you choose horde or alliance. each of these races has four types. alliance are gnomes, humans, dwarfs or nightelfs. horde are undead, orcs, taurans and trolls. all offer a different gaming experience. From here you choose a classes. there are six classes again each offering a different gaming experience. Most people have a main character and a alternative

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - good but a little repetetive
This game is good but the amount of time it takes to do anyhing irritates me loads. Sure i played it quite alot but it never really makes you think, man this is a game that i want to give every hour i have to.

The animations are in need of some work as there are about three different animations or each different weapon type which is a little pathetic for the supposed ultimate online game.

Sure he game is huge but that makes it feel like the old star wars galaxies which made you take about 20 mins to get to each quest, this isnt that bad but it still is a little tedious.

The quests are mind numbingly repetetive for the most part though that improved slightly when burning crusade came out as they actually explained why they want this item rather than just saying i want these three items desperately and im going to give you some random weapon if you do that is worth at least fifty times the amount that the stuff youre getting for him is.

All in all feel free to get it but dont get youre expectations to high as you will probably get bored in about three months.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Extremely addictive, people who are naturally competitive beware!
This game is EXTREMELY addictive and can have you staying indoors, sitting at your computer instead of going out to the cinema with your friends quite easily. I wouldn't reccomend this game to people with less than 2MB broadband and 1.8Ghz processor on their computer as a lot of the time, ESPECIALLY in main cities such as Stormwind and Orgrimmar, gets very laggy and you find yourself entering the city for the first time, thinking "wow" then it takes you 20 minutes to get to the city centre. Also you have to download quite a lot of patches which can take a fair amount of time. Now, to cover the idea of it not being "Newbie friendly", it IS if you have the common sense to read the "Gaining your first level" chapter of the manual. This basically tells you that when you spawn your newly created character for the first time, there's a bloke with an exclamation mark above his head that will give you your first quest. This quest involves killing a few creatures then getting a reward. BOOM! (Gold sparkly things fly around you) Level 2. Sound difficult? No. Fair enough, if you download a free trial then you won't have a manual, so here I am telling it to you. Now, with this whole flooded chat channel idea, if you click on the chat options which are above the chat box then you can disable the "Trade Channel" which is often the chat channel that's spamming up your chat box.

After playing this game for 6 or so months I'd got two of my characters up to level 70 (The maximum level you can get to after you get the Burning Crusade expansion pack) I was getting quite bored of the whole having nothing to do scenario and stopped playing. After not playing for 2 or 3 months now and having bought a new computer during that time, I find my self reordering WoW to start fresh, the claws of addiction dragging me in once more.

Now, don't be fooled, this game isn't the sort of game you can say "Oh, I've got an hour to spare while I put the chicken in the oven, might as well play some WoW" because it isn't. You'll end up going back to check on the chicken after you think your hour's up and finding it cremated.

One word; COMPETITION! The thing about WoW and many other MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) is that the competitiveness of the game keeps dragging you back for another 1, 2, 3 hours so you can get that extra level, that extra item, that extra kill until you end up almost giving your life to this game.

And about the character creation being simple, Morgan, yes you have been spoiled by Oblivion :)
