Electronics : Ronin M280 Portable DVD Player

- A good all rounder!
I have just bought a Ronin M280 and read the poor review above while waiting for it to be delivered - I felt I had made a mistake. However on arrival I was very impressed.
The screen is a good size and the picture is very clear and sharpe. The unit itself is slim and compact, and looks stylish. The speakers are not perfect, but as good as you could expect for a portable - the sound is clear and it goes as loud as you would want in a public place (sound through a good pair of head phones is perfect). In terms of the button to load the disk - its the same as a portable CD player - a little flimsy but it does the job fine. I am always wary of buying electronic goods from relatively unknown names; I think I am right to be. This is very poor, or atleast mine was. With 6 ot 7 dead pixels and a battery that seems to run for an hour tops, its more like a 20 pound player than 200.... avoid.
