Toys : Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker

- An okay purchase
I bought this rocker because I felt it would be good to have something that my daughter could use beyond six months and also that her older brother could not knock her out of.
I must admit that my feelings on this one are mixed. Although she did not like it when she was one month old, she does like it now that she's two months. It is very lightweight and not too big, so it is not obstructive. It is durable, in my opinion. The vibrations are somewhat superfluous because the child would be better off just being rocked. Oh and one has to wonder at the safety of the vibrations on such young babies, but I am no engineer. I also am concerned about the postrure of a child that would spend a lot of time in this rocker. One under three months would probably be slouching a lot.
It does have a non-rocking position, which is good and cannot be knocked over by an older sibling - it's very stable.
There are protectors on the bottom of the rocker that will prevent it from damaging wood or laminate flooring, which is a plus.
It comes with three toys, not very educational or stimulating, really. One of the toys is a mirror, which is shown in the pictures to be placed in the centre of the band. In my opinion, this is not a good position for it because if you rock the rocker, it will hit the child in the face because the straps that hold it are so long.
Overall, it is okay but I would not pay too much for it.

Started off with a normal standard bouncer seat which my daughter grew out of by 4months still unable to sit seen this chair and wish I got it in the first place, baby loved the vibes liked the toys on the bar especially the special mirror like one.
It's really easy to covert it from the bouncer seat to a toddler rocker... 2 years on its still getting used and it's the same price as some normal bouncers that only last till about 3-6months !
