- May the force be with you
A fantastic game set at just the right level for young children. Most games spoil the enjoyment for younger children by locking down the levels so that they just get stuck, frustrated and disheartened. Here careful thought has been given to how children will progress. It's not hard to complete all of the levels. What has impressed me is that even with all the levels open the game remains enjoyable in free player mode. My 7 year old son returns to it time after time even though he now has all the collectable items and has opened the bonus level. In contrast the new Lego Star Wars II game has been made just that little bit harder. It is still good for children but by making all those levels inaccessible and hard to find the programmers have taken the fun out of that game rather than putting it in.
Rating: - If your gamepads stop working with LSW
Bought this game 2 weeks ago. No problem running it with new Dual Trigger 2-in-1 Rumble Force gamepads. Massive hit with my Boys and I. Then disaster. First one gamepad refused to function, then the other. Amazon offered a replacement gamepad but NOT NEEDED.

- Another graphics-card related disappointment
I have to go along with a couple of other reviewers. Although my graphics card was well above the required spec listed on the box the game won't run because it lacks the pixel shader. I'm not sure how you could be expected to predict this and I'm not prepared to splash out on a new card just for the one game. Frustrated and disappointed kid (and dad) at home!

This is the best father-son game I have ever bought for the PC.
My six-year-old son and I played this game for hours and hours over several months. He started to phone me at work and ask me to come home as soon as possible so we could continue the adventure.
The game itself has a number of different levels, and on each level certain combinations of characters will enable you to clear it. It's a lot of fun figuring out which characters will do the trick.
The graphics are excellent and the storyline closely follows the films. It's great fun.
That said, you should note the other reviews on this page warning that the game does not work with all PCs. Make sure you're OK before buying. Knowing what I know now, I would buy a new graphics card if necessary just to make this thing work.
Rating: - Pixel Shader Rubbish
I agree with all of the reviewers who have trashed this product because it doesn't work on PCs which don't have Pixel Shader supported graphics cards.
Given the problem, it really should be highlighted on the packaging rather than just mentioned in micro-print under the system specs (I had never heard of Pixel Shader until this problem emerged......I think you probably have to be pretty knowledgeable to know what features you might or might not have on your graphics card).
Anyway, the end product of this sorry tale is a very upset young son who can't seem to accept that Daddy can't sort the problem out. I heartily wish I had never bought the product.
