Electronics : Sennheiser RS130 - Wireless Headphones

If you're sat there wondering about buying these things - do it. They are perfect.
The range is smaller than quoted, but my house has steel doors lots of steel in the structure so that kills it a bit. Yours will probably be better.
The sound is very nice, enough bass, smooth and not at all distorted or tinny until high volumes.
They are comfy with rotating ear sections, padded headband and soft foamy ear pads. VERY well made, all switches etc feel solid and robust. They are large, but not ridiculously so.
Cradle chrager is inspired design, transmitter is rather large (10cms x 7cms x 20cms).
Overall nothing to complain about. RS140s (next pair up) arent worth 40-50 quid more; I had a pair of 140s before these. The 130s (these) are miles better than similar priced Sony, Philips and Samsung offerings so go for these.

They are very comfy no doubt about that and with Sennheiser I know the headphones are good quality but the weak link here is the RF signal. I'm not in a hugely built-up area so there's no outside interference but that still doesn't stop radio 'hiss' coming in. You can minimise this by turning the source up as loud as the transmitter can take it but it's never really gone and unfortunately that is a flaw in the technology.
Note that these are 'open eared' which means others may hear the headphones - since my flatmate also has headphones on this doesn't really affect me but if you're in bed with the missus/mister then they may get annoyed!
All-in-all not a bad pair of 'phones but I wish they'd make something better than RF (Bluetooth?)

Bought these for the name to be honest!!
However when I charged them up & plugged 'em in
I was very pleasantly surprised.They are "The Business".
For economy priced cordless 'phones the sound quality is
excellent.The only criticism is the "surround mode" which
frankly "strangles" the sound.For around £50 you
can't go wrong.

I am a bit of a gadget fiend and wanted a set of wireless headphones for my XBOX360 so my fiancee did not have to listen to WWII most nights. These work perfectly I had to buy a couple of additional attchments from maplin to convert it from an AV to stereo connection but I knew this before buying it.
Some reviews I have seen for this and earlier models have said there is background noise which is annoying, I have not noticed this and the sound quality is perfect, I also like playing games with lots of sound and still the sound qulity of these headphones was great. I could also hear my fiancee when she shouted on me, so kept up the brownie points :o)
I recommend these headphones for playing games and you don't want a trailing wire as well as watching DVD's, TV. I tried these headphones plugged into my stereo and listened to the radio, but the sound quality was not very good, however I am not sure if the signal to my radio was crap and causing the sound to be awful.
Buy these.. THEY ARE GREAT.

i'm pleased with the quality of the sound. it can somehow go on level with my 5.1 speaker. and the wireless thing keeps me free to move around in my flat. it's very comfortable and does not give pain to ears for prolong wear. battery performance is amazingly superb with amazing easy cradle system.
bad side: backgroud noise is very noticeable, interference does make me mad sometime and if the signal level is too low, it does turn off automagically. i hate that.
