- Fasten Your Seatbelt
I love my full-on tunes and needed to dump my crap i-pod headphones, as they were just crap for many reasons. Did not want to spend a fortune on headphones and came across these with some good reviews. I am as I am writing this listening to "Fasten Your Seatbelt" by Pendulum, Ow my God what a difference good base, nice and clear. In fact, my computer is the thing letting them down as the standard sound card produces hiss. I fully recommend. PS read the comment below about fitting them...

I just bought this item for 8 pounds. but it sounds simply amazing. I used Apple in-ear headphones before, But this sounds (even fits) much better. Apple in-ear costs almost 25 pounds, though. :) Especially, bass is really good. It makes the bass exactly the same as my JBL speacker :D If you see this item, just buy it. Don't debate more with the others :) (cuz it's only around 7~8 pounds) It will never let you down.

I bought these on the strength of mainly positive reviews here.
The two or three times I've used them I've been very pleased - good sound quality.
However, the sound in the right bud has now died away virtually to zero. (I have another pair of earphones which confirm the fault.) After six weeks, and being used four times, I am unable to find a way to make Amazon take them back in accordance with my 'statutory rights'.
So - good value while they work, but only buy from a retailer where you can return them if required.
Rating: - Good sound and noise cancelling for pennies
At this price I cannot fault this product, in fact I've just bought a couple more for spare. I travel a lot and have used Sennheiser sound cancelling headphones (effective but bulky and subject to some external interference on some trains). More recently I bought some expensive Shure E2C in-ear phones that are brilliant for both sound and noise blocking but you have to look after them and keep buying new foam earplugs.
the Creative Labs phones are nearly as good as the Shures to my average ears, noise exclusion and sound are both good enough for train and plane travel and at this price it's cheaper to buy a new pair than a box of new foams for the Shure. Whereas I keep the valuable Shure phones in their neat but fiddly and slightly bulky travel case, I just slip the Creative ones into my belt pouch along with my PDA/MP3 player, ready for use at any time.
The equalisation is a bit odd on these phones and I have had to create a couple of specific equalisation setups on my Palm PDA (luckily it has a good graphic equaliser) so I might not be so happy with these on a cheap music player. However they seem to be bass-heavy and that is not so much a problem with the bassy background noise on a plane. My prescription is that, if you are very rich and always travel with a roomy bag, then maybe the Shure, or the deluxe Bose phones are for you. If you just want some affordable decent phones to keep in your pocket or a tight corner of your handbag, the Creative Labs product is fantastic value.

I received mine today - ordered these and a pair of Sony Bass Sound ear phones - the Creative Labs are so superior - it is unbelievable - I have therefore ordered another pair - one for the computer and one for my CD portable - highly recommend you try them!
