Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It is pricey - but it's most definitely worth it
As other reviewers have suggested, this isn't the cheapest peripheral available for the 360 - but once you've bought it, you won't regret it.

Adding this to your 360 allows you to connect to XBox Live/Arcade, for multiplayer fun and downloading new games to your hard drive. It also allows you to connect your 360 to your Windows PC and stream media content to your 360.

The only real shame about this item is that it's not Wireless N compliant, so you won't get the benefit of the extra speed and reach of Wireless N, if like me you have a Wireless N router. As long as your router is backward compatible (and they nearly all are) then it won't be a problem.

The only problem I did have is that my first wireless bridge was faulty. After plugging it into my 360, the red "connected" light didn't illuminate, but then did for a short while. After a few days, it died completely, so I got a replacement - which has so far been faultless. Perhaps my first was just a bad apple.

Ditch the ethernet cable and buy this, you won't regret it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pricey but worth it.
After my mum was complaining that I was always using her TV I thought it was about time I took my 360 to my bedroom. The only problem was that I couldn't play online as my xbox was no where near my wireless router. So I had to take the plunge and splash out £50 to have the convenience of wireless. At first I thought the price was extorcionate but now I have no regrets. I can play on xbox live as much as I like now virtually lag free considering my router is at the other end of the house. If you are considering buying one just do it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Jeez
This is a nice peice of kit and picks up my router fine, I haven't disconnected since!

Now, the reason this is £[...] is because it can be used with wireless interface types A,B & G, if you compare the price of this to other A,B & G Wireless Nodes for computers you will see they are similar in price, it is good on Microsoft to use all 3 types as some of you wouldn't be able to pick up any signal if it didn't!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Agree with most posters
This is a good piece of kit. Trouble is, my x box is in a tv unit and when I plug the wi fi into the back of the x box, the router doesn't pick it up. A short, USB extension cable takes care of that though I think it's odd.

Now, the real crux of the matter - the price. An absolute rip off. Mr Gates redeemed himself slightly when I found you could work the dvd perfectly well from the controller (anyone remember having to pay extra for the dvd handset in the old days when you had buttons ON the PS2)? However, the wi fi thing just goes to prove, once again, that MS don't care about their loyal x box fans who bought a MK1 when only a few games were on the shelf and playstation ruled the games shelves. Why wasn't this built in? 50 - 60 quid for every 360 owner is the reason! A lot of dosh.

Having said all that, if you want a neat resolution to cables lying all over the place AND you don't mind being ripped off, go for it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Next Gen Online Gaming Made Easier. Without Wires
This is a nifty piece of kit. Clips on back of xbox 360, put in your wireless rooter's I.P address and security key (WEP or whatever you use for security on your wireless internet) & wireless online gameplay awaits you. Though this is pricey (this is why I have not given it the full five stars) in the long run its worth it.

No more wires all over your floor.
