Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Agree with most posters
This is a good piece of kit. Trouble is, my x box is in a tv unit and when I plug the wi fi into the back of the x box, the router doesn't pick it up. A short, USB extension cable takes care of that though I think it's odd.

Now, the real crux of the matter - the price. An absolute rip off. Mr Gates redeemed himself slightly when I found you could work the dvd perfectly well from the controller (anyone remember having to pay extra for the dvd handset in the old days when you had buttons ON the PS2)? However, the wi fi thing just goes to prove, once again, that MS don't care about their loyal x box fans who bought a MK1 when only a few games were on the shelf and playstation ruled the games shelves. Why wasn't this built in? 50 - 60 quid for every 360 owner is the reason! A lot of dosh.

Having said all that, if you want a neat resolution to cables lying all over the place AND you don't mind being ripped off, go for it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Next Gen Online Gaming Made Easier. Without Wires
This is a nifty piece of kit. Clips on back of xbox 360, put in your wireless rooter's I.P address and security key (WEP or whatever you use for security on your wireless internet) & wireless online gameplay awaits you. Though this is pricey (this is why I have not given it the full five stars) in the long run its worth it.

No more wires all over your floor.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Extremely Worth it despite the price tag!!
When i recieved my xbox 360 with the standard ethernet cable i decided to purchase a wireless bridge to save time and hastle aswell as being able to transport my 360 around the house still with an xbox live connection if i was to wish upon using it!

My wireless bridge came through the post a few days later in microsofts asthetically pleasing packaging and sleek neat design. It took a while for me to configure my pc settings however looking back upon it, the setup was rather simple and to this day my wireless bridge still performs extremely well giving me great connection despite being on another storey away from my computer hub.

I have had the device a year and a half and have decided to review it recently after realising what a good funtion it has been performing me with for the past year and beyond

If you would like to buy one of these and have the money: It is truly worth it as it works a dream and makes gaming so much easier!

Please consider!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - nice bit of kit no more cable running across the floor
Finally got round to getting this.

Its small fits straight on the back of the Xbox 360 no messing around. Up and running in 10min with the configuration of router very strong signal.

Got mine for £49 pricey but I think it's worth the money also it Dual Band, which third parties are not.

So in short nice bit of kit no more cable running across the floor.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Next Gen gaming online made easy.
I purchased my Xbox 360 Core System at Christmass & was not really to fused about getting into playing online until my mate started telling how great playing games like Final Fantasy 11, Gears Of War ect online.

So i decided to go out & purchase a Network Adapter this weekend & can honestly say that it is the best bit of kit i have purchased for my 360 so far. I know quite a few people have commented about how £59.99 is a bit to shell out for an adapter is, but to be honest i think it is worth the cash.

Setting the little gizmo is a doddle & was lot less hassle than i expected, all that the 360 required you to do is plug it in at the USB port at the back of your console & then follow the on screen instructions once its found the device.

On the whole, i would say it took me not more than 5mins to be setup & hooked up to Xbox Live. I have had a couple of games on Gears Of War & Ridge Racer 6 which is a great laugh when you invite a friend to play online with you. My mate has promises to let me have a spare wireless headset which he has lying around which should be great for ingame banter.

I'm so glad i purchased this adapter now & cant wait to get a 20GB HDD & a copy of Final Fantasy 11 next week.
