- The coolest moment of the Clone Wars Cartoon Series...
Who can forget that amazing entrance for Clone Wars Series 2, when a lone ARC gunship full of ARC Troopers from red-armoured Captain Fordo's squad descended upon Hypori, and single-handedly descimated a whole droid army, as well as rescuing three Jedi from the hands of General Grievous. Now you can relive that moment with the Hunt For General Grievous battlepack!
This toy is quite good, but not excellant. Firstly, there are three main problems with this set. 1) the ARC troopers antenni. They keep falling out when I pick them up, so you have to be careful not to knock them out and lose them; 2) a problem with all Hasbro-made commanders, Captain Fordo's hand blasters. They too fall out of their pockets on his kama skirt too easily, and are also easy to lose; and 3) the posability of the three ARC troopers. There are only 8 points of articulation of these, and the arms are extremely limited due to shape and angle. The right arms cannot be raised to hold the gun because of the shoulder pad and the hand angled downwards, so the only poses available are ones with the gun in the left hand or with the gun on the shoulder. Another slight picky point from a fan - the gunner who wields the minigun in the show doesn't have this scout-like visor helmet, he has a modified ARC pilot helmet. The trooper who infact has this helmet is the one with the great quad-cannon, which it seems Hasbro unfortunately couldn't be bothered to add to this set, causing it to feel incomplete.
Personally, I wouldn't have enjoyed it very much if I hadn't have got the blue ARC gunship that goes with it. But overall, this is a must-have set, due to the exclusive presence of Captain Fordo and the gunner. A shame that they aren't available seperately - they're the REAL selling point for me.
