Rating: - Chainsaw bayonet: The best invention ever?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

This is what I screamed in glee when I first cut my best mate in half using the chainsaw bayonet function of my rifle.

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Is what I screamed in horror when he got his revenge and crushed my skull with a curb stomp.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Is how I taunted the poor American online as I murdered him with a sticky bomb!!!!!


GOW is by far the greatest multiplayer game I have ever experienced.

As for the story mode - ignore what these guys are saying about completing it in a few hours. We all managed to do that on the easiest difficulty level. But jump the difficulty up a few notches and you have a truly manic hellraiser of a game that will take you to the edge of the emotional razorblade, before sinking it into the back of your head!!!

Rating: - ok but could be better
when i first got gow i thought it would be lots of fun but turns out that wasn't the case. i completed the game within 3-4 hours and the plot was a bit off the point. the only good bits to the game is the online gaming. it's godd that you good be up against loads of people at one point on different teams butthe game is slow and gets stuck alot over the internet, and its not just my 360 all my mates have the same problem. i don't want to put anyone buying gow but i'm just saying that it can be a bit slow and stop start if you know what i mean.

Rating: - GOW basic review
First i rented this game, it was the second game i played on 360. Me and my mate completed the game in 2 days. A lot of people will say that was a long time, as to be honest you could complete it in a few hours.

Graphics, are fantastic, not much better out there, there are the odd glitch but what game doesn't have them. Frame rate can get a little slow when mass killing.

After completed the game the game had to go back, and brought in many weeks later as it seemed to hit the world of 360 by storm and everyone who had a 360 would of had GOW.

Online, is probably the only game i really play online apart from FNR3. It is good with a few of your mates and having good old bashing. However some of the weapons are little over and under rated on there power settings. For instance the pistol. (1 bash and shot and your dead)

overall if you have a 360 you should get it, but if your like me and feel this game gets to repetative then get Rainbow 6 or Advanced war fighter 1/2.

Rating: - Best game ever?
I have had this game since launch date, however, it is only recently I have really started to play it. At first when I played it it just didn't really feel right and I didn't get into the game at all. I think this was mainly because I was enjoying myself too much on call of duty 3 online which is great fun.

However, this is one of those games that you have to play a lot to really appreciate how damn good this game actually is. I've seen many people moan on about how short the campaign is, I say it is just the right lenght, it took me 6-7 hours to complete the whole game, via xbox live with a friend I might add which is a brilliant idea, however, I do think the story could have been explained a bit more as if you read into the story,, you find it is a very detailed plot.

To online play. In verses ranked matches, again, you have to play the game quite a lot to really get into the game. At first when I played online I thought it was rubbish, everything was over too quickly, it was too difficult, but after playing it for a while I just can't get off the game.

Overall, this is easily the best 360 and next gen title by a mile, nothing compares to the awesome graphics and game play. At £30 odd pounds it really is a steal, an absolute must buy, believe the hype. Astonishing game.

Rating: - I don't like it online.
It's a FANTASTIC, mixed with Fantazmic, game... however, I DO NOT like to play it online in matches against other players.

Here's why:
It's EXTREMELY laggy, you get booted if your team starts to win (not the game's fault I know but they should not allow the option to boot once the game has started unless someone betrayes someone twice or something)

The online game times are WAAAYYYYYY too short to get into.
The chainsaw, a good weapon but at the same time one of the most irritating ones... it sort of decides when it wants to work and you end up dying when you could have quite easily killed the other player and end up getting a torrent of abuse from other players such as ''LIKE OMG YOU SUCK, YOU'RE LIKE.. SUCH A NOOB!111''

Again, not the game's fault but still something I don't like about it's online gameplay.

The rest of the game, and that includes ONLINE CoOp, is brilliant.
I loved it and will not sell it.

Alot of people claim that the PS3 and the XBOX360 consoles are either better or worse than each other, can I be the first to say ''WHO THE HELL CARES?! it's a games console not your life.
We all have one thing in common as Gamers, we LOVE to play video games no matter what genre they come in, all gamers of different genres all like one thing, to pick up a controller and to play! so why can't we all just get along?.

Anyhow, for this game I take away the 5th star because of the laggy online part of it.
