- Did I miss something?!
Having played Halo 1, I was expecting something a bit more with Halo 3 being the 360 release of the game. I maybe too cynical to be carried away with the narrative of the trilogy (a marketing ploy by MS), I looked at the game as a first person shooter rather than the conclusion to a trilogy. I probably lost some of the enjoyment by doing this, but found the playability of the game a disappointment, there is very little in the way of tactics or problem solving, its just point and shoot, which does get monotonous after a while. Do not get me wrong the game looks a treat on your screen, but that does not really make up of what is lacking.
If you want a good looking shooter where you point and shoot then buy this, however if you want something with a little more depth then buy Halflife2 or one of the Tom Clancy series.

i got this game primarily because the hype was so huge around it and everybody i asked said that it was an amazing game. this game is so stupidly overated its insane, its so crap. its got no feel to it at all, i rate battlefield battlefield 2 modern combat as ten times better than this, there is nothing new in this game, okay mabye there are a few more guns etc. but most of it is just bungie churning up the same old stuff from halo 1 and 2

This game is the most boring and unentertaining game I have played before. Everything bout this game I did not like the gameplay was terrible the guns were terrible. If you are unsure about this game then don't get it it is far too overated. Magazines said 'best game on the Xbox 360 ever'. That is a lie if you want a game that is fun and is actually reasonably believable then buy Call of Duty 4. However if you like games with aliens invading and lazer guns then try it but it is the most unrealistic game ever the gameplay is terrible the only good part is the multiplayer yet any other games would be better.
