Video Games : Halo 3 (Xbox 360)

Ive never understood the appeall to any of the halo games there good thats it notthing great at all ,thers so many better 1st person player games out there eg call of duty 2 and 4 bio shock ,rainbow six vegas ,The xbox live is good but not everybody has it aslo unless your really good at multi player it gets boring very quickly unlike call of duty 2 which is much easyier to pick up ,I almost forgot orange box is much better ,Over all halo 3 is good not great unless your really in to xbox live and you like playing with rude american teenagers,

Rating: - i really cant see what makes it so good
if you have played the previous halo's and are thinking about buying this one, don't bother. its almost exactly the same, the creators have obviously kept with their previous winning formula and haven't taken any risks and it hasnt really paid off. its the same old idea of shoot the hell out of whats in front of you whilst jumping around and not worrying about losing ammo because theres always more lying around, and ofcourse, no tactics whatsoever. In essence in online play or single player its not a case of outsmarting anybody, but just whose got the better gun and whos shield will run out first
i cannot see how people can call it the greatest game ever, in my humble little opinion it's far far from it.
i dont think its awful but its just not that special, there's nothing new or breathtaking about it, the gaming world needs breaths of fresh air like gears of war (maybe the greatest game) or oblivion, games that take it to the next level, the Halo series is an old-stlye game, surely by now it's time for a change

Rating: - A Waste of developer time and shelf space
This game is one of the worst I have played in the last ten years,. No where near the hype. Firstly, I'm used to shooters with a little more than just a point and click shooting method. The game tactics are limited, i.e. point a gun in the direction of a baddy and pull the trigger. This should have been designed with a little more complexity , as in cover , fire and manoeuvre. It plays like Doom.

The weapons are the same as 1 and 2 , the characters and enemy are the same. Its very linear. There is no room for thought or tact.

Ultimately , far too simplistic and not worth paying full whack for. What a bore.

Rating: - Too Easy...
The Graphics i must admit are brilliant but the game itself was too easy i completed it within a week. If you really want to get into the game you have to get to the last two missions because they are really action packed. online play is actually quite good though

Rating: - Game of the Year
This is probably one of the best games this year. The stunning graphics and gameplay will keep you glued to the screen. Interesting new vehicles powerful new weapons, this game has it all. Action packed with aliens from start to finish, a great buy.
