Fantastic game , i cant wait for the ex pack to come out, if you've never been one for sticking with computer games and getting bored after the first few days, then this will change your life,(going out somehow dosent seem the same anymore)
great graphics lots of characters to make up and the goal of getting to level 60 is only just the beginning, if you join up with a guild and go raiding which is great fun, if you have a headset and mic, then ingame chat is a must.The best thing i ever bought, and the 8.99 a month is good value. But remember that there is a real life out there otherwise it will suck you in. buy the game and preorder the ex pack and enjoy

I'm afraid that Blizzard has decided to turn the PvP system on it's head with comical World PvP objectives, and a gladitorial arena to which it is possible to draw comparisons with the PvP combat system in Guild Wars. I would look carefully at the official world of warcraft site before considering to pre-order this item!

I played the original game for roughly a year, although it is indeed a very fun and addictive game and Burning Crusade promises to add a significant amount of content to the game, you may find yourself quite bored once you hit the brick wall of a level barrier. I actually stopped playing World of Warcraft for the simple reason that I couldn't do a single thing on my own after hitting LV60, you are practically forced to either visit 40-man dungeons endlessly or else start a fresh character, both of which become tediously boring. I have decided to resume playing World of Warcraft upon the release of Burning Crusade to gauge whether or not the amount of solo activities has risen in any way, I have my doubts that the number will have risen.
I can only speak for the original game at this time, but if you're the sort of gamer who prefers a more solo experience, you may wish to avoid the game, however, if you're more of an MMO Gamer at heart, you'll most probably fit into WoW and it's many communities quite well.

finialy we dont have to find 39 other people for raids as none of the new raid's need more then 25 people. we still keep the likes of MC and BWL but no new 40 man raids are to be added to the game

I love World Of Warcraft, and I'd love to be still playing it BUT, if you want to get seriously into it once you've hit lvl 60 (now 70 with the expansion I believe?) you'll want to go on 40 people raids to all the big dungeons and get the very best of the items etc. This takes a collosal amount of time and I'd only recommend getting this game if you're prepared to fall in love with it and spend countless hours being active for guilds. It is a beautifully made game and I do love it though.
