- Defective device after 5 minutes playing
Due to the hype and very good reviews I've decided to buy the iGroove. I could hardly wait to receive my device and enjoy my music on it. I was very curious about the sound quality of the Klipsch. Finally today I've received the unit from Amazon. Nice packaging and brochures. After unpacking I installed the unit in my room. I started to test the unit with different volumes and tracks, but just after 5 minutes the speaker muted. I thought it might be switched off, but it was on. I tried everything, I turned it off and on again, I've checked my ipod (it was fine with the headphones), but nothing, not a sound! To tell the truth I am really really upset, because after reading all those 5 star reviews I thought I will hit the jackpot with this unit, but I'm sitting here now with a silent speaker...
After this dissappointment I'm not sure that I will go for the replacement, I might just ask for a refunding and look for a more reliable model.

Received the igroove about an hour ago and just had to write a review. I read all the reviews on here, which compelled me to buy it as I wanted something to take the weight of my large ipod music collection.
I wasn't disappointed. When I pulled it out of it's packaging it looked smaller that I anticipated. I had it set up within a minute and was rocking the house. The sound is truely incredible! I played my existing hi-fi next to it and the sound and the depth of the igroove trounced all over it!
It has a meaty bit of bass to take r 'n' b, electronic and rap, as well as great treble settings to handle my metal and pop collection.
All in all, one of the best pieces of kit I have ever purchased. I would reccomend anyone who appreciates good quality sounding music to get one ASAP!

After doing a search on Amazon for iPod speaker system came acrros the Klipsch and bought it on the basis of all the reviews. Great system, looks great and sounds amazing.

Have heard the Bose speakers and these are just as good if not better, look the business as well, excellently made also.

I purchased this early last year based on reviews here and reviews found on the internet. It was a risk to buy an unknown brand and speakers l had never heard before. But all the reviews were positive and rightly so. This is the best sounding ipod speaker kit on the market by far. I have listened to the very expensive Bose system and Klipsch are far superior in sound and in looks. It's a very well made solid piece of kit. Their history is in cinema speakers in the states. You will not be disapointed with the rich warm full sound...
