- Great fun, and so easy!
I'm not good at many gaming systems but this so easy and fun!!! There are so many things to do, to unlock and it's also a pretty good work- out!!!! Thumbs up!!!

Dare I say it, this is better than the highly acclaimed 'wii sports'. With lots of replay value and an uncountable number of missions, if you want a great game featuring great characters, this is for you. I do not like sports, yet this game is simply amazing.

Do you remember the old "button bashing" track and field game? Remember the punishment your fingers took? Be prepared, this game takes it to another level.
There are 20 standard olympic events such as swimming, running, fencing, javelin and 4 "dream" events (same as the standard events but with an arcade feel).
Pick your player from 16 recognised mario/sonic characters and choose from 3 different playing modes. Single match is 1 individual event, circuit involves multiple events you must do well in to unlock new content and mission sets a target such as "finish in x time".
The controls are simple. Alternate the wii remote and nunchuk up and down to run, flick the control up to jump etc. It works intuatively on some events (running, shooting) and less so on others (pressing buttons while rowing? why not just row?)
The game is lacking in varied content. A lot of events are similar and they've missed quite a few events that would have worked really well. A nice touch is being able to view other players records via wi-fi connection, but that apart the game has not got much to keep you coming back for more.
All-in-all it's a good pick up and play game, gets competitive when played with others.......Oh and maybe buy some heat rub at the same time, my arms are killing me after trying to beat the pole-vault record.

good game...... good graphics.....good gameplay..... but if you want a truelly amazing game, get super mario galaxy instead
