Video Games : Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)

this isn't really a review i was thinking of getting the game and id just like to ask ppl who hav this game, does it not get boring? cos it seems that all you do is do events. is there any other options or do u just play the olympics

- Great Family Game - Controller A Bit Hard Though
The whole family have enjoyed playing this game, and you can often find one of us having a sneaky practice when we think the others arent looking!!
Our personal favourite events are the 100m running and the swimming.
Some of the problems with teh control make it hard work, and the archery took an age to work out how to do it. Still miss 8 times out of 10 as well.
We love these king of competitve family fun games, but feel the controller should of been made more like wii sports and easy to use for the kids.
I would give it a 4 out of 5 though

With Mario, Sonic and chums, its seem this has lost its way. In theory it should have been great fun, but it can be tedious and repetative, one to rent or trade in once done with it, very short life span I`m afraid.

This game is fun for all the family. I found lots of the events extremely fun and I liked the use of the wii remote. The characters all have their special qualities and the graphics and sound are superb. Also it has mini-games where you can gain facts about the Olympics. This game is challenging but one you cant stop playing. This is a must have for Christmas.

It's a clean sweep for Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, they've cleared every gold and even won trophy for top game of the millenium!!
