you need alot of stamina and yes even strength if you wanna be the best at any of the sport games. much better than i expected, i only received this from amazon a short few days ago because its been so popular and constantly out of stock. my brother loves the wii sports game so im sure when he gets to play this he'll love it too. tbh playing sports games with your favourite mario and sonic characters leaves little room for flaws so purchase this is you have a wii and like competitive sport games!

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is a fantastic game for the Wii it reminds me of the frantic activity I had when playing the Daley Thompson game on the Spectrum.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games IS simply a lot of fun but I would recommend it for kids 8+ or children that are quite adept at games as it can be quite tricky as you have to time a lot of the events with moves on the Nunchuk and Wii remote- events like the hammer and swimming can be quite difficult and the latter tiring. But the whole game is a lot of fun and the circuits very addictive- this is the game like wii sports that makes the wii such fun.

To Be Honest. I Thought This Game Was Going To Be Another Batch Of Crappy Minigames, But It's Actually Quite Fun, There Are Some Fun Minigames In This Game.
The Controls For Some Of The Minigames Let You Down By Not Responding At The Right Time, But This Is Only For 1 or 2 (Archery Being The Most Annoying)
This Game Can Get Boring With Just 1 Player, But With More Players It's Really Fun And Lets You Release Your Competitive Streak.

It's a fun game, but it's just very tedious clicking through the endless screens between goes.
Also there's no option to play multiplayer with just one remote. There's split screen ones in each section so it doesn't let you attempt anything unless you have a wiimote per player.
Otherwise it's good, but I still prefer wii sport for gameplay, tho the graphics on this are way better.
