. Koss PortaPro - High Quality Sound Stereophonefrom: Koss February 05, 2008 Firstly, these headphones really do punch a lot higher than their weight in terms of sound quality vs. money spent. The sound quality just is astounding for something that is under £20. I've had a pair of £40 Sennheisers for about 2 years and they are not a patch on the PortaPros. The bass response on these is warm, strong and natural, without rattling your eardrums. The midtones are lovely and strong, which is something rather missing on a lot of headphones. The high end is clear and bright as well. I will say that these do take a little getting used to, mainly because they do produce such a completely rounded sound. At first, I was a bit skeptical.
