. Zool 2 (Jaguar)from: Atari This is a bright, colourful and challenging platformer for the Jaguar. There are similarities to the "Sonic" games here but overall Zool 2 is wackier and more frustrating. As 2D games go this is impressive. The graphics are cartoonish and clear, and the sound is above average for a Jaguar cart. It has aged quite well although it's not much more than a revamped 16-bit game. You can choose between two characters with some minor variations in play and there are plenty of levels. As the game progresses it gets frustratingly difficult but it is seriuosly addicitive providing hours and hours of gaming. Overall this is a good game but not quite up to the standard of Rayman.
