. Goodmans GPS285DAB Portable CD Player with DAB Digital/ FM/ MW Radiofrom: Goodmans December 05, 2006 The Goodmans GPS285DAB is basically a good portable system. People have complained about the problem with setting the volume. And it does take some practise to get the measure of it. You just keep pressing the button intermitantly untill you get the desired volume. I found this is only a problem when using the remote. A word of warning, this system claims to have 20 FM (analogue) presets. It doesn't - the FM tuner is completely analogue, no presets. This is slightly annoying if, like me, you bought the sytem intending to use FM untill the DAB signal is fully installed in the area. However, it does have 10 DAB programmable setting.
