Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars (PC CD)

I was a huge fan of the original Cossacks when it was first released in 2001, and I had to wait several years to play this sequel, considering my old computer wasn't up to the job. Sadly though, despite all the new features, this game does have huge flaws and it can be very frustrating.

First off it is worth noting that the game mechanics have been changed since the first Cossacks. While the original was like an 'Age of Empires' clone, in that whoever massed the largest army won the game, the sequel tries to implement realistic battle mechanics. This means that certain tactics can be utilised to defeat your enemy i.e - you can launch a sneak attack on their flanks or rear, causing the enemy soldiers to panic and flee the field. ... Read More:
