. Hori Official Lite Protective Filter (Nintendo DS)from: Hori June 23, 2006 First, I have to acknowledge that they offer good protection once properly on. They're made from some kind of stiff but flexible layered plastic and silicone that even before attaching you can feel the durability. The top filter is anti-glare and actually makes the screen look crisper and brighter, and the bottom filter doesn't seem to pick up scratches, although it lacks the antiglare layer of the top as that would impede touch sensitivity. The problem is they are extremely hard to attach cleanly even on a new DS. Even in an apparently dust-free environment there are particles whizzing around, and I can guarantee that between removing backing and placing the filter, at least one dust particle will appear either on the sticky strip ...
