Ulltimate Ears Super fi 5 Pro - Clearfrom: Ultimate Ears November 07, 2006 I've bought these as an upgrade for my Sennheiser CX300's and Sony MDR-EX71SL's, both of which are fine, but these Super Fi 5 Pros are undoubtedly the best earphones I've ever used. I was also considering the Shure SE310's but opted for the UE's on the strength of other user reviews here. In agreement with the majority of these reviews, the depth and clarity of sound is amazing - it really is like listening to your music for the first time! Few niggles, though. The law of diminishing returns applies - while they do sound fantastic, they are very expensive (however, having bought them & paid off the credit card, I am glad I did).
