Anything electrical , without a motor is generally okay. If you're running, for example, a motor or a big amplifier, then do some more research to make sure that this is good enough. I'm down to 2 having tried it with a couple of kitchen-based electrical items, and them hearing a pop, and then smelling burning. It has uni-directional screws, so if you blow it, you blow it. Do some internet research to ocnfirm your power requirement - not just the wattage. If you work it out (I'm still uncertain), then you're on for a cheap winner.
