I did quite a bit of research on MP3 before making the plunge, Which magazine and website, read most of the amazon reviews and other websites. The YP-T9 was rated highly in Which and the reliability appeared to be better than the Ipods. What really tipped it for me was the price. Why would I want to pay twice as much of a 4Gb Nano that does not have a radio? It was a close run thing between the Samsung and the Sony Walkman which appear to be comparable in price and features.
