SanDisk Sansa Express 1Gb MP3 Playerfrom: Sandisk March 04, 2007 I bought this as a 1GB pendrive / MicroSD-USB adaptor with MP3 as a bonus so was a little dissapointed that it can't handle SDHC - restricting you to 2GB microSDs. Probably why its being discounted. As an MP3 player its OK. Volume is a bit limited. I've not established how long the charge lasts. Dragging and dropping mp3 files to the unit when plugged into USB2 port is fine. As manufacturers are under considerable pressure to remove this functionality and require a copyright observing "music manager" app, players which do this are likely to become rarer. On all the 32 bit Win XPs I've tried this on, no Remove Hardware icon pops up and there is no Eject menu option for the "Portaple Media Player" in ... Read More: |
