. Buffalo 250GB Portable USB 2.0 Hard Drive/TurboUSBfrom: BUFFALO June 30, 2008 Got this drive to back up my photos taken on a safari. It is connected to a Vista run laptop. It works very well, fast transfert and the turbo software is ok. It is light, silent but the usb connector is not encased properly and as mentionned in other review the gap around it could led to a damage drive, so protect your drive with a case. I have drop it twice while in a neoprene case and the drive is still working. So so far so good. Now I am looking at a 1TB drive from Buffalo.......... will keep you posted. And yes I would buy another one if I lose it. Cheer |
