SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB U3 Readyboost Flash Drivefrom: SanDisk August 21, 2007 I've had the 4 Gb san disk for a little over a year now-maybe 18months and lasted whilst i was travlling in and out of machines but i had the same as someone else where the black plastic section snapped apart but then i clipped it back together and it seemed fine. since then it kept tkaing itself offline whithout warnign and the orange light going out. yesterday it took itself offline and i pulled it out to reload only to find the metal setcion still in the machine and all of my photos for the past six months, my website and my work lost. i'm mortificed, it's come straight off of the green elec board, so maybe i'll get my soldering iron out but failing that the USB stick i thought was amazing at the beginning has failed me. i came on ...
