. PURE EVOKE-1S (maple) Luxury portable DAB digital & FM radiofrom: Pure August 29, 2007 I bought one of these for my mother who lives out in the sticks where FM signal is poor. I knew that DAB signal was good as I have a set in my car which works well. She wasn't disappointed! She uses it mainly for Radio 4 and the sound fills a quite substantial kitchen, the controls are very easy to use - the simplicity for her was the killer app! So a couple of months later, the backlight failed on my kitchen DAB, (not a Pure) so the ideal replacement. |
