we bought these from another company at a higher price but still found them worth it!! when our daughter was small we entertained her with them (away from her hands and feet.) she loved them then!! They are also a great toy now that she can find her hands and feet.
We have discovered that she also likes to hold them and wiggle them around!!
To the point, although i agree that the socks may come off easily and also that the rattle is rather quiet, i still believe these to be a worthwhile investment, bright, engaging, entertaining and interesting for the baby who is not quite into everything!!
Lamaze have a wide range of items for babies which all seem to work well. Stretch the Giraffe contains a wide range of colours, rattles etc to stimulate baby and keep him interested. The belly is black, white and blue - easy colours for baby to focus on in the early days. When baby is a little older he'll be interested in the dangly stretchy legs - one foot has a squeaker, two have (different) rattles and the fourth one is crunchy. There are numerous 'taggie' ribbons on Stretch which babies seem to find fascinating. Even later on baby will make good use of the teething rings. The large clip means that Stretch can be attached to a pushchair, baby gym etc to keep baby occupied. My 16 week old little boy loves him - even just holding on to him. ... Read More:

Five stars for the product, no stars at all for BT's customer support.
The product is great - I've owned a cheaper baby monitor and it wasn't worth having because of interference. This one has all the features you need and you don't have to listen to buzzing all evening!
But... the one I bought was faulty - the mute feature wouldn't turn off (intermittently) so the baby yelled and we heard nothing. BT offer an email support service which they simply ignore and a helpline number which (while free - they've changed it from 0870: good!) isn't answered within any reasonable time. So buy the product, check it works (took us 2 weeks to be sure ours didn't) and be comforted by the fact that Amazon has a great returns process for faulty ... Read More:
It's cheap but then after 2 months it's already broken!
First the charger was broken then followed with the monitor. Now it's not working altogether. Plus when it was working, it wasn't giving the clear signal. So all in all, this is not a good buy.
I bought this for my niece before she had actually started walking. At that time she loved to play with the detachable activity board on the front. Now she's up and walking there's no stopping her. The look on her face as she walks along using this baby walker is priceless!!!!
No baby should be without one of these.
PS. The only downside is the 'Hello puppy calling do you want to play with me, let's have fun together as we learn our ABCs' song addictive and I found myself singing it!!!
OK like many of these bath toys they are good fun and can keep you playing in the bath with the kid(s) for ages.
But a note of caution!
When finished playing with them in the water make sure you empty out the water from these things.
As over time mould will build up inside of them and you see little dark spots inside. If the child puts them to their mouths and squirts of sucks from them like most will do then these mould spots will be swallowed.
They also will appear in the bath water as I have discovered.
This is fun, small enough to get around the little one in the bath, big enough to capture the imagination and little details are great. Fantastic value for money - we all live in a yellow tub-marine :-0
Well, like the others I find this to read ridiculously hot. When we have another thermometer (which is also inaccurate reading too high, that's why we replaced it with this!) reading 23.5 and the heating thermostat set at 19 the egg continues to warn us it's 24.9 degrees in here. This is positively dangerous, I bought this product because I am disabled in a way that I can't tell my own body temperature and need to rely on a thermometer, I could die from hypothermia if I trusted this thing. It's going straight back.
