Lamaze have a wide range of items for babies which all seem to work well. Stretch the Giraffe contains a wide range of colours, rattles etc to stimulate baby and keep him interested. The belly is black, white and blue - easy colours for baby to focus on in the early days. When baby is a little older he'll be interested in the dangly stretchy legs - one foot has a squeaker, two have (different) rattles and the fourth one is crunchy. There are numerous 'taggie' ribbons on Stretch which babies seem to find fascinating. Even later on baby will make good use of the teething rings. Lamaze Gardenbug Wrist Rattle & Footfinder Set

Lamaze have come up with another highly entertaining toy for babies. The two wrists strap each have a bug shaped rattle on. The velcro design of the fixing means that they are very adjustable and will fit baby's wrists for a long while. My baby enjoys them and I don't have to worry about him dropping them the whole time. The socks aren't quite so good. The design is more like a sack, so they don't stay on baby's feet well at all; a velcro strap might help in a future design. Again they each have a bug shaped rattle on and they certainly encourage baby to reach for his toes. So 4 stars - the design for the socks could do with a tweak, but a lovely product all the same.

i bought this for my son when he was 6.5 months old. he has loved it ever since. i would not hesitate in getting one of these if u are considering it. my son is now 10 months old and i feel it has given him the confidence to take his first steps on his own as his balance is brilliant and he took his first fe steps last week. 10/10.

Lamaze - Freddie The Firefly

I bought this toy for my son when he was born as he is a baby that is always awake so needs lots of stimulation. This has been one of the best buys as he loves the squeaker and the colours meant he could see it when he was a few weeks old. It also rattles and he is now able to get hold of the rings at the bottom to chew. I actually put this toy in the washing machine when it fell out of the car and it was fine - the squeaker still works. A must have for those with active babies.

My 3 and a half year old loves her cow Trunki and it's exactly the right size for all her bits and bobs, and fits neatly under the plane seat. It's also really distinctive and we got loads of comments at the airport from anyone who saw it.
On the downside, two problems:
1. The front wheels are fixed so it's really tricky to turn it, especially when you've got your child sat on it; even more tricky if you're going downhill cos the Trunki runs away from you on the long leash and, unless you either run with it, or your child puts their feet down, you end up garotting the child!
2. Apart from the long leash which also becomes a useful shoulder strap for mummy to carry, there is only ONE handle on top, fixed to only one side of the ... Read More:

This doll has a rattle and a teathing toy attatched. I bought one for my neice at 4 months and one for my friends girl at 12 months. both love it. much better value then ones bouth from mother care elc........ it is reasuring that the packaging clearly displays the safety checks and standards

Strengths:
- Very lightweight
- Cute music
- Cute pictures from the light show

Weaknesses:
- Can easily be pulled down by baby using its fingers
- Pictures are on a rotating disc, so may become boring after a while.
- Once the baby sits up in the crib, this can be hazardous if it't attached to the side, because the light has a warning not to let eyes come in the way of the rays.
- Probably useless after the child is four months old, if not before.

A better buy, in my opinion, would be the mobiles from Tiny Love that have farm or zoo animals. These are well-designed, durable, and can be used well into the toddler years (without the mobile part). My 1.5 year old still ... Read More:

Lamaze - Balancing Bug Stacker

I bought this toy as i was looking for something a bit different from the whoozit type soft toys for my 8 month old. It has not disappointed. The 6 bugs are all brightly coloured with various legs, wings etc for little ones to grab hold of. They each contain a magnet which not only enables them to stick together in a totem pole effect but also produces a not too loud rattle in each one. They are neither too heavy nor too big for the littlest hands to pick up and they will love knocking down the towers that you have carefully constructed as well as banging pairs together and ultimately building their own towers, naming the bugs, learning colours etc. My only, very small criticism is that i assume one of the bugs to be a spider but it only has 6 ...
