My 6 week old baby boy has a thing for gazing at lights or the sun shinning in through the windows whenever he was awake and it would stop him crying too. So i decided to buy one of these to see if it helped settle him at sleep times. My god!! first time we put him down with it he was mesmerised and we didn't hear a peep from him. Works a treat strongly recommend it.

I don't often review things on Amazon - but quite frankly, the woman (I am assuming) who invented the Jumperoo deserves a Nobel Prize. I don't know what we'd have done without ours - and our son has never giggled so much as when in his Jumperoo.

I would definatly recommend these if you are having difficulties with a traditional beaker. When i tried to introduce a beaker my son did not drink from it - i tried several types, but he would often reach to drink from a glass someone was holding and would 'drink' if someone held it for him. we've had one for about 6 weeks now and i'm now ordering some more of these for grandmas- as he drink loads from it (although some always ends up down his front)and it'll save getting having to teach him to drink from a cup in the future!

Having looked around at the numerous gates on the market I decided to go for the Lindam Easy Fit Plus. I guess the name won me over, and true to its billing it was so easy to fit!

All my friends have Lindam gates, and had recommended them. I'ts sturdy and secure. Does exactly what it says on the tin!! Also all the awards it has won really convinced me. I have also bought the extending metal gate for the top of my stairs and that is great too!

Fridge Phonics

My daughters are 3 and know most of the letters of the alphabet but not all. They are showing a real interest in learning to read and so I thought this might be an easy way of helping them to learn the rest of the letters. Although the picture shows the letters as upper case, when it arrived it had the lower case letters, which was actually what I would have preferred (the product advertised with lower case couldn't be delivered to Germany). I think this toy will help them learn their letters but I have a couple of reservations: 1) it does both the name and sound of the letters, which I think is a bit confusing, especially as some letters have 2 sounds. 2) It is sometimes a bit difficult to make out the sound properly so that some sounds are similar. 3) For some ... Looks a great design. It is quite sturdy . This is my 3rd child to potty train and i found this not so good as the other potties encourage their knees up and bottom lower than their knees which helps aid the process.
Also i have found that pooh gets stuck in the screw underneath the back of the seat so a pain to keep clean .I'd go for the traditional potty next time.

Our 1-year old daughter absolutely loves this toy - I would highly recommend it and I think if she could talk she would too!! 'Hop onboard the animal train, come on everyone, learning about animals, it's really LOTS OF FUN!!!' hahaha - this song is so contageous - I just want to sing it the whole time. 'Animals big, animals small .... ' etc etc :---)))

Rainforest 1-2-3 Musical Gym

I bought this for my 7 weeks then baby, after the more expensive playmat failed to entertain my baby. And it was good decision. My little girl liked it from the very first moment, she figured out what to do very quickly. Bright colours, lovely butterflies and playing tiger attract attention. This mat is small, but has all it takes to make your baby play happily for a long time. Highly recommended.
