Fisher-Price Aquarium Monitor with Smart Reponse

We bought this item for our newborn daughter (now nine weeks old). It seemed good to start, but then after a short while, the projector stopped turning unless you fiddled about with (or downright bashed) the unit. The bulb has now blown (at around five weeks) and we won't be replacing it, since we're not impressed. The sea sounds are okay, but don't sound anything like the sea, more like white noise. The music is pretty rubbish, some of it sounds like the soundtrack to 80's kid's science shows, not very condusive for sleep, but good if you want to learn about bunsen burners.

In short, buy a decent monitor, don't buy this.

Fisher-Price Rainforest Gym

If in doubt about this gym, all i can say is that my little boy loves it, its been a godsend for us!Its great for a young baby as the lights and the music keep them amused (while you run around and get some stuff done) and once they are a bit older they can still play with the toys happily.

My little boy is 4 months old now, and he still loves it, and grabs the toys, which are wonderfully designed, the elephant being a particular favourite. The variety in the toys is pretty good, with noisy ones as well as interesting textures to touch. Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing

I only bought it when my baby was 3 months but it has been great. My duaghter loves sitting in it and will be amused for an hour or so by watching the toys. I have set it up in my kitchen so I finish all my cooking and tidying up while she is still awake and 'busy'.

Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker

I bought this rocker because I felt it would be good to have something that my daughter could use beyond six months and also that her older brother could not knock her out of.

I must admit that my feelings on this one are mixed. Although she did not like it when she was one month old, she does like it now that she's two months. It is very lightweight and not too big, so it is not obstructive. It is durable, in my opinion. The vibrations are somewhat superfluous because the child would be better off just being rocked. Oh and one has to wonder at the safety of the vibrations on such young babies, but I am no engineer. I also am concerned about the postrure of a child that would spend a lot of time in this rocker. HOwever my criticism is that the batteries run out really quickly, luckily we bought rechargable ones otherwise it would cost us a fortune but we still seem to have to recharge them at least once a week and we only use it for about 10 mins a day.
