Summer Infant Snugglenest

We were having problems getting our new baby son to sleep in his cot at night, he seemed to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of space around him. We tried him in a moses basket but he just screamed his disapproval time and again. The only place he would sleep was in his pram.
I then remembered having seen a Snugglenest previously and wondered if it would give him the same feeling of security that he felt in his pram. I ordered one with the intention of putting it inside his cot. The first night we used it he went straight to sleep!

Summer Infant Potty Training System

Originally I bought a standard potty for my daughter from Tesco, but she wouldn't even sit on it, never mind anything else. But when I bought this, because it looks like a toilet (but little like her) she loved it. She also mastered potty training in two days with it!
The best thing about it for my daughter is that it has a soft seat, so she can sit on it for ages without getting uncomfortable! Now she has mastered this potty, she will also go on (and use) the standard one which I got her originally, which I keep upstairs, but she doesn't like it very much because it hurts her bottom, whereas this one she has no problems with.
This 'system' is also good because it has two steps, one for the sink and one for the toilet (when they're ... Read More:

Summer Infant Prenatal Heart Listening System

We bought one of the when my wife was 18 weeks pregnant. The instructions say you can't pick up the baby's heartbeat until around 21 weeks which was pretty much spot on - we didn't pick the baby's heartbeat until around 22 weeks.

It's pretty easy to give up on the listener, as it can be frustrating trying to find the baby's heartbeat the first few times. The trick is positioning the listener correctly, listening for a bit, and trying again until you find the right spot. Once you've found the right spot you can pretty much pick it up all of the time.

It does help if you keep lie back and completely still, because the device, which is basically a very sensitive microphone, picks up any other sound like the earphone cable ... Read More:
