After rave reviews all over the TV and from friends, I have been wanting to read this for a long time. I'm quite sentimental so I expected to be bawling all the way through and really drawn into Holly's plight. I love a good depressing story! Instead I'm only 100 pages in and I can't take any more! I can feel my brain cells being destroyed with every word! It reminds me of the kind of thing I read when I was 12. The same simple, predictive style. It certainly makes me question Richard & Judy's choices, but then maybe they were paid to like it.

After reading ps, i love you I was looking for another book by the same author hoping for it to be just as good, and I was pleasently surprised. I was astonished at how a book could be written - and easy to understand, completely as a series of e-mails and letters. At first I found it quite confusing however as I got further through the book I began to find it easier and really enjoyed it. It was an easy read and i would recommend it to anyone!

The next time you lose something, comfort yourself with the idea that it's probably gone to a place called Here! This is a whimsical story with a heroine called Sandy Shortt who has never really found herself; it takes a visit to A Place Called Here to present her with the path to enlightenment and self-discovery.

I bought this book after I saw the film "PS, I love you", and was expecting to enjoy this book, but what a disappointment. It is poorly written, extremely dull, nothing happens, repetitive and a true struggle to get through. I did finish it, I wish I hadn't wasted my time though.
