I bought this book based on the reviews, it was agood book but not great.

The pace was okay - but it seemed very predictable on what would happen.

Velocidad

The book is brilliant but I ordered Velocidad thinking it was a book that I just had missed hearing about, I often find that with Dean Koontz books just seem to appear. But when I received it it was the spanish translation of Velocity( at least I think it is Spanish!) An easy mistake to make because it was just recommended to me and nowhere did it say about it not being in English. A genuine mistake I have no doubt but didnt make it any less disappointing or any less of a bother to have to sort it out. First problem I have ever had with Amazon and have ordered many times but just to save anyone else from the same plight!

Koontz: Three Complete Novels: Cold Fire; Hideaway; The Key to Midnight

I am 14, and have been reading Dean R. Koontz for most of y2k, and I have read one that I didn't like much, but compared to that, all three of these are excellent. I read 2 of these 3 in a single book format, but I think that this format is a lot better, you'll like it if you like crime, horror or even want to expand your mind from romance, as Koontz's books usually include a little romance, or sex, so you people might like them. 'Cold Fire' was really intense, a bit x-filean in nature-which, incidently-was how I got into horror, through the equally brilliant X-files books. I cant believe how many people here don't know what a graphic novel is. But even worse than that is the fact that you give it a bad review because your to stupid to know what type of book it is.
It was a good basic graphic novel. :D

Santa's Twin

Since I first bought this book it has become a family tradition that it is read aloud each Christmas. It has also travelled into school to be read by various teachers. Children love it, as do I! The illustrations are amazing and someone always sees something new. Highly recommend this book.

Dean R. Koontz: Three Complete Novels: The Servants of Twilight; Darkfall; Phantoms

My first introduction to Dean's books. I bought this book as an impulse buy whilst browsing here. It contains three novels... The Servents of Twilight is based around a small boy and his mother who are chased by a strange religious group, Darkfall focuses on voodoo and the third book, Phantoms, which is by far the best of the three involves a town in which everyone suddenly dissapears. I only gave this collection a score of three because what you have is essentially the same underlying structure for each of the three novels. The subject matter is different but the characters are pretty similar and there are key points in each book that are the same.
