Essential A2 Biology for OCR (Essential A2)

This is the single most useful resource available to people doing A2 OCR biology and I highly recommend it. The textbook assigned (Biology 2) is designed to cover all students aiming from A-E whereas this book is for students with higher capabilities, more in the A-b range. My teacher uses this book over Biology 2 and its always fun to enter a lesson and know every word that is going to come out his mouth.

Selected because of good rating but was very disappointed with their performance as the book never arrived. My 2 weeks were wasted and was given an excuse that the book is lost in post.

seriously it's the best textbook for biology AS!!!! im curretnly an AS student and all my teachers recommended swapping the Bioloy 1 Book for this one!!!!! it's concise yet detailed and has info that the Biology 1 book doesnt have...no joke that it's all you need to pass!!!!!!!! the essentials Chemistry AS book isn't as great though but the Revise AS Chemistry for OCR A revision guide is good enough to make up for it!!!!!!!!1

seriously it's the best textbook for biology AS!!!! im curretnly an AS student and all my teachers recommended swapping the Bioloy 1 Book for this one!!!!! it's concise yet detailed and has info that the Biology 1 book doesnt have...no joke that it's all you need to pass!!!!!!!! the essentials Chemistry AS book isn't as great though but the Revise AS Chemistry for OCR A revision guide is good enough to make up for it!!!!!!!!1

Without this textbook I would never have survived AS biology! This has everything you need to know for edexcel AS biology (it also has stuff for other syllabuses aswell).My notes for unit 2 were useless so i revised exclusively from this book and got an A! The book is clear and well laid out with lots of useful colour diagrams.
