Dear Zoo

My 15 month old boy loves this book mainly because he loves opening flaps! We vary between this and the 'Where's Spot' book (where the flaps are easier to spot). He never seems to tire of them!

Dear Zoo: A Lift-The-Flap Book

My mum used to read this to the 6-7 year olds in her class and told me they all loved it so much she turned it into a class project. All the kids drew pictures of their ideal pet with a flap to cover it. They made all the pictures into a book for the class. My 7 month old baby loves the book too. He giggles when the flaps open. Its a great book to read to babies and later on toddlers can interact by lifting the flaps.

Buster's Bedtime (Look, Touch & Feel)

My grandchildren have lots of books here and both of the babies, now aged 13mths and 14mths, have enjoyed this book for a while. As they got older they pointed at pictures and chose their favourite pages, made appreciative noises and gave lots of smiles especially loving Teddy peeping out of the bath and having his own toothbrush. They finish by gently making sure Teddy is in bed with Buster.
What is lovely also is that the 4yr old can read it to his baby brother too.
I really recommend having this book from an early age.

Noah's Ark

Dear Zoo: Big Book (Big Books)

This book is a complete classic that will delight children from a very early age. We started with this book when our son was about eight months old and he has enjoyed it ever since. Each page has an animal hidden behind card doors and toddlers simply love opening the doors to reveal the animal behind. Once again these animals give scope for further fun with parents doing the sounds of the animals, which in time children will copy. We found that when we did the animal sounds our little boy would carefully study what sounds we made, leading to our total delight one day when we heard the sound of a dog coming from our little boy. Oh Dear!

My 13 month old loves this book and have to read it to her atleast 5-6 times morning and night - there is a whole stack of books in her room - but this is the one she always picks first. Great follow on from Dear Zoo.

I Won't Bite!

The touchy feely pages throughout this book make it a delight for children of all ages. The repitition makes it ideal for early language aquisition and literacy skills. But the main thing that the children enjoyed was the surprise at the end. No matter how many times we read it to my youngest, he still got a fright every time! The hard back version is a must if your children are like mine though, We read this book so often a paperback would never have withstood so much handelling.

These books are fantastic and amazing value. I've just stumbled across them whilst searching for birthday presents. We already own the 4 books in this particualr set and have paid close to £20 for them. If only I'd found this sooner!!

My 10 month old 'reads' all these lift the flap books unsupervised and loves them. I've never had to break out the sellotape for the flaps.

Really quality books. Entertain for hours
Can't recommend them highly enough

It's Mine

Absolutely the best book in the world. Both of my boys loved it - from the age of 9 months. It has more cellotape on it than the roll its self. I have just ordered a new copy as the old one was my sisters and its been through all my cousins as well. I would recommend it to everyone with small children.
