I have read all of Tasmina Perrys books and I thoroughly enjoyed this one yet again.... This is a great read to take on holiday you just immerse yourself into the characters. I would recommend all of her books, they are easy to read and always a pleasure. Cant wait for the next one.....

I agree with most of the comments here, it's not going to win any literary prizes but if it's a tonic you're after like I was after a few heavy books, this is perfect.

Just like 'Daddy's girls', I found 'Gold Diggers' mildly entertaining for the most part and I must begrudgingly admit that in terms of characterisation, it's an improvement on the debut.
Littered with grammatical errors (and I'm certainly no expert, but some were really obvious and should have been edited out) and consumed by irritating name dropping at every turn, TP just does not seem to be getting it right... The whole novel smacks of trying too hard.
I did like the story and I certainly didn't read this book expecting to have to think deeply about any subliminal messages - it does what it promises to do - but in terms of racy, pacy bonkbusters it is decidedly below par.
Ok for the beach but watching the locals in tiny swimshorts ... Read More:
