This is an amazing item, I have tried many diferent techniques to learn Italian and this is by far the best. I really do encourage you to buy this you won't regret it. The voices used are really good as well, they saying everything clearly allowing you to understand quicker. The music is also an added bonus it allows the words to stick in your brain faster, and makes the experience alot more enjoyable. With this product its not a matter of having to use it, but you want to use it. Fantastic.

I bought this originally for myself as I am studying French, German and Spanish (for fun would you believe) but it is so easy to learn that my 7 year old has it on her iPod and we are starting to have conversations.
(I also speak to her in German at times and due to how easy these CD's are, she is able to have limited chats in that too.)
There are some tunes in the background which phrases are laid over in time, and you hear them and lock them in your mind along with the tune. The guys voice is almost hypnotic and the woman who speaks with him is clear and easy to understand making it ultra easy to repeat and learn.
She will often make the odd comment about language rules, but the CD doesn't bombard you with ... Read More:
Although all the reviews so far have been five star It is not as good as his first book. There are plenty of how to books on the market and I am sure if anyone knows how to it is Duncan Bannatyne
The first book had the excitement and edge of describing how he made it form nothing with no discernible talents and as he quite rightly said if he can do it anyone can do it.
This book has sold nowhere near as well as his first book and is obviously written with a view to following up on the earlier success. Unfortunately this is no Godfather 2..
If it had not been written by Duncan Bannantyne I doubt it would have got anywhere near a publisher. I agree that if you are prepared to work ... Read More:
"Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap... and Others Don't" by Jim Collins was a real eye opener for me.
In this book, Jim Collins, observes 28 companies over the span of 5 years. Over this period of time 11 of the companies make the leap from "Good to Great". The findings in this book were truly eye opening and inspirational. I loved the chapter on Level 5 leadership. Collins starts the chapter using a quote by Harry S. Truman "You can accomplish anything in life, provided that you do not mind who gets the credit". This is the essence of the book.
I also loved that in this book he speaks about how the executives that ignited the transformation for companies that went from good to great, did not figure ... Read More:

Badly recorded. Little time between subjects. The descriptions of techniques are of little use without some sort of visual representation. My advice would be to produce a small accompanying booklet. Failing that, don't waste your money.

This book is simply boring ! Got nothing from this book and can't see why it has got such a good reviews. I purchased based on the rating and was so disappointed - basically says think big, almost no case studies or interesting facts, says nothing of any interest and it a total bore - do not buy !

I assure you that unless your father is John D. Rockefeller, you will certainly learn something new on the subject of handling people by reading this book!
Have you ever wanted to rationalize human interaction into a set of logical rules? Have you ever wandered how you can become better at it?
This is such an interesting subject, yet it's never taught to us in school. We are somehow expected to learn these skills by trial and error over tens of years. Why would anyone want to waste so much time when books like this are readily available?
