There is a lot of good erotica in the short story genre at the moment and this is one of the best. Red hot stories that are believable and imaginative, the characters are beautiful and are doing things we all do, or would like to do. I also enjoyed the 2007 edition, thats well worth a look. And my own personal favourite, the classic '100 Percent Erotica' by Suzie Van Aartman, you'll need to change your underwear after reading that.

This is really several character studies interwoven. It is flawless and the language is concise and the use of metaphors exemplarily.

It is not hard to discern why this book is so esteemed, and I would not argue with anyone who put it at the top of their list of favorite novels (for those people who like making lists). It can be enjoyed of so many different levels, both as a romantic story or as a deep philosophical novel about people searching for meaning in life through science and religion and sheer frivolity.

The main way that I rate a book is the levels of neglect in my home, sad to say my pots got washed and kids fed. So a reluctant 3 stars given, as ever Ms Carlyle writing is of a good standard and the story moves on at fair pace, the interactions between the H/H were reasonably effective altogether a pretty good book, BUT, if you're used to reading a book from cover to cover in one sitting I would say read this but don't be dissappointed when you fail to get the buzz that usually comes with this authors work if you have'nt read anything by this author before I would recomend that you start with some of her earlier stories as they have more bite to them, my favourite being Devil to Pay

This book wasn't what I had expected and the reviews didn't make it clear that they were about more mature people. I found the stories good but definitely not raunchy enough.

This book put me off to begin with because it was the first book from the series i had read and as it started with a glossary i was like - oh here we go, but it actually turned out to be a good read. The relationship between the two characters is good and believable however i would say that from the other reviews you would not realise that the book is fairly graphic. However these scenes come in chapters almost so can be missed out if the reader desires. The view point throughout the book changes, mostly between the two main characters so you get a good understanding of the events from both charcaters perspective. Regardless of everything else in the book (which wasn't awful but wasn't great either) I can't give this book more than a one star review because the hero sexually assaults the heroine within the first couple of chapters of the book.
In my opinion there is no justification for sexual assault and therefore I could not enjoy this book.

This was the first ever book that I brought of Kresley Coles and the first in the paranormal romance genre, and I have to say that it the best thing I have ever done changing from the NORMAL romance and taking a chance on Kresley Cole. The charecter are literaly brought to life on the page and what a page turner it was. Detailed descriptions of the tournement that was happening and, the Love that can not be between the two main charecters and how it boils between them. If you have never read the genre before then I would say go for it I have pre-orderd the new one as I have read all the immortals after dark and am now reading the Mcarick brothers books and have also got the sea fairing books to keep me occupied, there are just not enough hours in the day.
