Don't get me wrong this was a brillaint book but it was a let down at the end. Myself and my fiance thought it would of had a better ending to the series that it had I was "eh why is it ended here that's stupid" she could of left us all hanging on and then released a new book saying all that and going into a bit more detailk than she did after all that would of kept everyone on the edge of their seats and she would of been able to rethink the ending because some of the ending could have been forseen much earlier in the series as myself and my fiance had guessed most of it was going to happen.

...and is undoubtably well-described, but the actual storyline wasn't quite as exciting as everyone said it would be. Still, I will be reading the next one!

The story is well known and you would think that nothing compares to the magic of Harry Potter. Then you discover the wonder of Steven Fry. His unique voice is adapted for every charater perfectly, you always know who is speaking. Steven Fry and Harry Potter really is a magical combination!!!

What's all the fuss about? Watch the films instead: that's enough. Only just OK for a quick skim through if there's nothing better on the shelf or in your bag: so much of this book is unnecessary and should've been consigned to any decent editor's bin.

But, one of the most profitable franchises in history, so what do I know? However, look at any chart - what does everyone else know?

Another brilliant installment from the Great JK Rowling !
Gets better with each book as we are led further into the wonderful world of magic ! Great to find out about the other Wizarding Schools of Beaubatons & Durmstrang and loved Viktor Krum !
a bit darker than the rest but it has to move on a bit now they are all getting older !
Brilliant !

This entire series is special but now that it's complete I can safely say this is my favourite. I'll re-read all the books but this one the most.

Review:

After Sirius' death in book five, Dumbledore invites Harry to help him investigate and obtain information regarding Voldermort's past (or to be more precise- Tom Riddle's past). With Voldermort's Deatheaters returning to him en masse, Voldermort is now ready to return to his reign of terror so Dumbledore and Harry must look into his past to see if there is any way of defeating him. I queued up for this book on the 15th of July 2005, and it was worth it. This book is definitely one of my favourite Harry Potters, along with COS, GOF and DH.
There was so much going on, unlike OOTP, and I loved all the memories and Dumbledore and Harry looking for the Horcruxes.

It was interesting to see how Malfoy's character developed from book one onwards, and I think that in this book in particular you see what he will become. I thought him being a death eater was a great idea, and I enjoyed reading about how he dealt with all the problems.

Also, I found Harry and Ginny's relationship a delight to read about; Ron's reaction was quite pleasing- as I was reading it I thought he would not allow Harry to go out with Ginny, but I was pleasantly surprised. ... Read More:
