It is winter and it is snowing. All through the evening, Percy gets knocks from various different animals and they all want to share the bed. The problem is the bed is too small for them all. How will all of the animals and Percy get through the night? Find out in this book... I really, really, really like Percy the Park Keeper adventures (and have got four of the books) and would definitely and positively rate this book 8/ 10. I would absolutely strongly recommend it to everyone who likes Percy the Parker as well! Nick Butterworth has done a great job with all of the books - so I look forward to read and review other of his books!

The final chapter of the current heroes of High School Musical is here. And if the message of the first film was "try new things," and the second was "don't let plans for the future spoil what you have now," this third outing was a combination of both. Some of the Wildcats see the future holding more of what they already do: Taylor wants to be the first black woman American President, Chad wants to be a Redhawk at the University of Alberquerque, Sharpay plans to conquer the world of show biz, and Gabriella has always dreamt of going to Stanford University for a degree in law. I bought this book for my twin grand daughters when they were four months old. They loved the pictures and quickly picked up the repetition and loved hearing all the animal noises. By six months of age, they wiggled with delight every time they saw me pick up the book. They now try to push the sound buttons for themselves and never tire of having it read to them. Definitely the best book so far that I have bought for them.

I bought this on the strength of its nomination for the Roald Dahl prize. I thought it would be funny and up to date modern childrens fiction. It isn't. I was bored. So were my kids. Sorry, just never 'got' Paddington. Maybe my dislike of Marmite has tarnished my views?

Thomas' Big Race: Sound Book (Thomas the Tank Engine)

This book soon became a favourite with our 20 month old son who is very into books and currently especially Thomas books. He would ask for 'Bertie' since this is about how Bertie the bus challenges Thomas to a race.

Although he enjoyed the sound button, and this did not last many days of rough toddler attention, there is plenty of opportunity in the text for making your own noises.

This book is a real treat for any Thomas fan in the little tank engine's 60th anniversary year. With a real cloth jacket in classic blue, silver gilding and embossing on the dust jacket. The captions inside are a nice touch too. Perfect for a christening or special birthday gift - I hope my godson will like it when a bit older!! This is limited edition too, so should prove highly collectible.

I lose track of age suitability for books for my grandcildren especially as they are in Australia, and other children I buy for, so the mention of ages in other reviews helped me with age suitability.

My daughter loves Mog, she has fast become a firm favourite at bedtime! I agree the pictures are dated, but I think that is part of Mog's charm! My little girl loves saying "Bother Bother BOTHER that cat". I will be buying some more for her to read, as I have read this one so much and want to know what other antics Mog gets up to!!!

I have two older children that i read these books to when they were younger and thay loved them very much I know have another child who is 5 and I have just started reading the percy books and she is loving finding out how percy helps his animal friends when thay are in trouble these are great books
