Although this book might hold lots of things 'you could have thought of yourself', you don't always have the time or energy to get that grey matter working again when you have one or more little ones. This is therefore a great book you can just pick up and find an idea.If you need anything to 'play the game' you will more than not already have it in your home. Ideas incorporate rainy play indoors as well as ideas outdoors and includes creative stuff as well as physical play. Also, it has some great recipes for doughs etc.

i bought this book for my one year old - below the age limit on the book, i know. but it looked so full of many fun things that i just couldn't resist! she loves leafing through the pages and pulling things out of the book. she also really enjoys the ribbons and shoelace and grandma's car keys which are hanging from the purse. i love this book because as she gets older she'll be amused by more than the obvious - there are little details that are adorable, such as the baby pictures granny keeps in her purse and they are, of course, tasteful naked baby photos! all in all - a good purchase. a little pricey, but this book will amuse us for a good long time.

I bought this sticker book to use as teaching material in private tuition (I'm a native French speaker) and find it a useful starting point.
This book contains 14 colourful scenes from which are extracted about 6 to 8 words with corresponding stickers to be located on insert pages. Each sticker shows a picture of the object or person labelled in French with the English equivallent in smaller type. At the end of the book there is also a compilation of 30 words to be matched with their pictures and a full glossary with (approximate) pronunciation guide.
The scenes are busy enough to provide lots of scope for talking or reviewing and introducing more vocabulary.
The stickers can be stuck in the book in the spaces provided, ... Read More:

I bought this book for my four year old granddaughter. We live in Greece and her mother tongue is Greek. She understands very little English and was not really showing any great interest in learning the language.
However, she adores the book and as soon as I gave it to her, she got stuck into sticking the stickers on to the appropriate words. Although initially her main interest was in the stickers, she found the book very interesting and on the second day she was interested in learning the actual letters and words and announced to her dad that she was now going to try to learn English.
It is a lovely book for small children. It is bright and colourful, the pictures are relative to every day activities, and are well detailed, and the ... Read More:
