this is a relaxing a positive cd however it does go over the top sometimes in an american 'cheesy' way... for example 'giving thanks to your mailbox and the postman' and 'blessing the radio that you listen to' were a little too much for me... and i found it hard not to groan at the 'i love you' at the end of the evening meditation! For a more down to earth 'english' take on meditation, listen to glenn harrolds hypnosis cds.

Although primarily aimed at helping with stress and anxiety, this audio CD should be a useful resource for therapists of all types, since the relaxation techniques taught will help in any situation. The CD contains 7 relaxation techniques, all of which are good; with particular highlights (for me) being a good guide to abdominal breathing; the excellent Coping Induction; the interesting Walking Relaxation; and the clever Brief Relaxation. I found the American accent a little off-putting at first but soon got used to it. For a more hypnotherapeutic approach to relaxation, readers may also be interested in "Healing within Hypnosis" by Nick Kemp.

This is so funny you will be in pain, ISIHAC will keep you amused for hours, use it again and again and again this is worth 6 stars there is only one bad thing-there will never be another Willy Rushton. Apart from that there is nothing funnier you can buy!!!

I bought Audio version of this book from itunes as I can listen but may buy the book as well just to back up what was said, the book gives case studies from known people like dragons den`s James Cann and other well known business people and how they got started and gives snippets of what their best advice would be.

It is not surprising that the advice they give is very similar in style and not one of them says that they regret anything about how they got started.

Buy it, it truly is a great book.

This is an excellent follow-on course to the Michel Thomas Spanish Foundation Course (also highly recommended). I bought it a little less than a year after buying and becoming fairly proficient with the content of the Foundation Course. For me, proficiency in the Foundation Course took a lot longer than the 6 weeks or so that the publishers suggested. Perhaps that is because I am very bad at learning a new language - but I don't think so. I think I am about average and that the publishers claims are unrealistic.

My warning to all beginners like me, is - don't be depressed by slow progress - learning a new language is tough, but we'll get there in the end, and let's enjoy ourselves while doing it. And the Michel Thomas Language ... Read More:

Michel Thomas Foundation Course: Italian (Michel Thomas Series)

The first thing to say is that the Michel Thomas way is perfect for me. I did his Spanish course and it gave me the motivation to take conversation lessons. The big problem is not the saying or reading of a language, it is the listening to others and understanding what they are saying that is difficult. So, having completed the Italian course I feel very confident with the structure and cognate vocabulary, and I just need to practice. Having followed Michel Thomas's Spanish course in the past I have to say that I found the Italian version less comprehensive than the Spanish. There seems to be a lot of time spent on the will and would, and the stressed 'r' on the word endings. As with the Spanish course you have to get past the students mistakes, but ... Read More:

This is my newest acquisition from the Meditainment range and as with all previous cds, it works beautifully.

The sound is crystal clear, of a very high quality and the guided meditations do relax you to a point, where I am actually nodding off. (Do not use whilst driving)

The 3 tracks on this cd are very well produced and it does exactly what it says on the tin - 'helps you in dealing with stress, tension and worry as you become deeply relaxed and enjoy feelings of total contentment and complete peace of mind'

I have over the years purchased many relaxation tapes and latterly cds, even ordering tapes and videos from America before there was any such thing as the Internet to try and find something that actually helped ... Read More:

Be careful before buying - all four episodes although very, very funny have appeared on previous tapes/cds. They have just taken episodes from previously released material.

Such a disappointment.
