I'm really enjoying this series and cant wait to get the third and fourth books. I'm quite anxious to see where the plot goes and I loved the bonus stories at the back of the book (Sometimes There Are Lazy Days Too)

I was really looking forward to recieving this throught the post, and when I seen the size of the book I thought "great".
But there are only 50 pages of photographs and concept art, and the rest is all script. I think the item description for this is misleading, as it sais "The Art of The Drak Knight"
Don't get me wrong, the artwork and photographs are great, and there's a section where the make up artist tell of how the Joker's make up was done! That's why I have given it 4 Stars.

Warren Ellis tales this tale of the reinvention of Tony Stark as Iron Man in preperation for the Civil War. The story is gripping, with all the characterisations done perfectly. The characters feel like real people, with flaws and emotions rather than just wise-cracking bad guys, heroes and side-kicks, which is really where Ellis comes into his own in my opinion.
Next, the artwork. Adi Granov is truly a master of comic art. Every page is so amazingly done, some of the images I had to flick back to once I'd turned the page just to look at them again. The lack of typical comic sound effects also works with the ultra-realistic artwork to make this story about such a larger than life character feel deeply routed in the real world.

This seventh volume of the truly excellent Death Note manga is something of a book of two halves. The first half of the volume sees the conclusion of Light's rather complicated plots and it looks like he is well on his way to creating his perfect world. The second half of the volume sets things up for the second half of the series with new opponents arising to challenge Kira and events take a turn that he does not expect.
This series continues to impress me and some of the twists in the plot of the story, although seeming somewhat contrived in places, are nonetheless fascinating and do enough to keep you reading. I will definitely be interested to see where the story goes on from here.

Won't give away anything here but I loved the entire series of this manga (and the anime) and this last volume keeps you gripped all the way through its so awesome. You really don't until the end who's going to win, and it really depends who's side you're on as to whether you'll like the end or not.
Anyway who hasn't got into to Death Note yet should, I've never read a manga that's affected me so much (it's been three days since I finished and I'm still thinking about the ending!.
