This second volume of the Naruto manga resolves the cliff-hanger from the last volume relatively swiftly and the action soon concentrates on the missions that Naruto and friends get up to as fully fledged ninja. Naruto quickly tires of the menial tasks that he and Team 7 are given and pushes for a more exciting mission and eventually Lord Hokage grants his wish, acting as a bodyguard for the master bridge builder Tazuna. Not everything is as seems, however, and Team 7 is soon embroiled in a fight for their lives.
This is a great improvement on the previous volume as although the humour is toned down slightly here the action has been greatly increased and there is some background for the setting and the nature of chakra. This ... Read More:

This is the most disapointing sequel to a comic since batman year 2. I have no idea how Kirkman could fail to produce at least an enjoyable graphic novel based on super heroes and zombies, but manage it he did and in style! If you enjoyed the first graphic novel I can guarantee that you will find nothing of the first's originality, violence or humour in this weak novel. I was so annoyed at this book that it promted me to write my first amzon review.

This is another collection of hilarious, bizarre, fascinating and unique picture-strips and it is entirely worthy as a companion to book 1.
Such riches here, but to tell all would be to spoil. But how can I not mention the masterly linework, the intrisic design, the delicacy of the lunacy, the understated wit: all brought to life through the usual favourites - Moominmamma, dignified in disaster (and delightfully eccentric in her approach to housework), befuddled Moominpappa , the Mymble and her multitudinous kiddies, Fillyjonks, Misabel and of course spiteful Little My?
Herein, Moomintroll builds a house with the aid (???) of the Snork Maiden,
The Moomins resist hibernation and pine needles to embrace winter - a story that's ... Read More:
