Believe me you will not regret buying this.
The show starts off fairly slow in the first series but it really comes into its own in the more recent series.
The show works very well with incredibly funny contestants such as Graeme Gardener, Tim Brooke Taylor and Barry Cryer. You cannot forget to mention the superb Humphrey Lyttelton and his dead pan delivery. The show is now and the refreshed by some new faces appearing for a few shows, these include people such as Stephen Fry and Paul Merton.

This book is an entertaining and mostly balanced biography of a great singer and entertainer.
I would describe myself as liking some of Queens material but not all of it. However I have always thought that their performance at Live Aid blew all the other bands off the stage and is one of the best live performances ever.
The book was interesting for me and I would imagine that almost anyone who likes some or all of Queens stuff would enjoy this.
The book seems at times to dwell unduly on the more colourful side of Freddie's life and sexual conquests in particular. The writer comes across as pretty disapproving of this, and at times the tone is a bit like the Daily Mail or some other moralising "voice of ... Read More:

An excellent easy to follow resource that has interesting and stimulating activities for different age groups. Activities are varied and the kids loved them. I would definitely recommend it!!

I decided to read "Othello" after enjoying "Hamlet",another one of Shakespeare's celebrated tragedies. I must admit that I did not enjoy "Othello" quite as much however. It's plot is quite complicated; labyrinthine at times, and much of it's language is obscure and hard to follow . The play concerns itself with the endeavours of the thoroughly malevolent and evil Iago to destroy the Moorish Venetian general Othello, his boss. He does so by poisoning Othello against his innocent wife Desdemona. He convinces him that his wife is having an affair with Othello's deputy (and Iago's rival) Cassio. Othello takes the bait and duly obliges Iago by becoming filled up with hatred of his wife which eventually leads to a tragic ending and a series of untimely deaths . The ... Read More:

Before embarking on a reading of this play be warned that the entire piece is an emotional onslaught as family values are attacked, the entire concept of marriage is undermined and no character emerges unscathed by the proceedings of the long and boozy night over which the play is set. Confining the play almost entirely to the living room of George and Martha, screwed up couple number one, and making the only other characters in the play their guests, Nick and Honey, screwed up couple number two, results in a tense and claustrophobic piece of drama. Add to this an extremely large amount of booze and the inevitable revelation of long kept and destructive secrets, and the play becomes a damning indictment of both the institution of marriage and the destructive capabilities ...
