theres always one (and its often the same one) who demolishes the reviews section with a comment like this is the second best chakra clearing book, and thendoesn't tell the rest of dirty, blocked chakra'd folk which is the best way of clearing our chakras...tell us guru jamieson, enlighten us, have you per chance written a book....to share generously the great chakra clearing wisdom of the Jamieson...

A good book but not detailed enough. We use this as an additional training resource here at PPL Plumbing Training in York. As with the Level 3 version it seems to be aimed at younger learners. It is easy to read and gives a fair amount of coverage but we believe there are more comprehensive level 3 books out there.

After reading the reviews on Amazon about this book, I decided to use a long overdue voucher to buy it. As new 2nd year nursing student, it helps to have some books that you can return to again and again. After only having this book for 2 weeks, it's already proving it's worth. This and the Marsden should be the recommended buys for any student!
As one of the previous reviewers stated, the only downside - the size and weight!! At least I'm building muscles whilst learning!!!

The Good Research Guide

I am a first year PhD student (pure research and no taught modules or recommended reading) and found this book to be really helpful for getting started with the basics, even though I have already chosen my research method and proposal. It comes in small bite-size chunks with a few gems to get you thinking. I'm a 'get it done quick' kinda girl, so this was great for my style of 'action' learning. If you're more of a deep thinker, this may not be for you.

I've just passed all three of the QTS skills tests today, and I know Iwould not have been able to do the ICT test without this little book. Ithas all you need to know, and is very accessible. The book explains thebasics you will need to know, providing many examples and practicequestions. Highly recommended for any trainee teacher as the book willreinforce your existing skills and help you to gain new ones, giving youthe confidence to take, and pass, the QTS skills tests.
