As a teacher i was hoping this would save me valuable time and effort. Sadly OFSTED do not approve or recognise these lesson plans. The lessons are dull and incomplete. Not the solution you were probably looking for Im afraid! A waste of time & money!

Alison Benjamin and Brian McCallum are two British reporters and amateur bee-keepers. Benjamin works for the British daily paper The Guardian. Their book "A world without bees" was published earlier this year, and deals with the mysterious mass deaths of honeybees all around the world, the so-called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). While some people belive that CCD doesn't really exist, for instance the current Wikipedia writer on the subject, others consider it a serious, global threat to bee-keeping. Benjamin and McCallum certainly belong to the latter camp, claiming that one third of US beehives and two-thirds of those in France have been wiped out by this mysterious condition. Most scientists seem to agree that CCD does exist, but so far ... Read More:

This book is core reading for my course and has been an invaluable guide. It covers everything you need to know from how children learn language to how to be successful at assessment. It includes useful research summaries, interesting practical tasks all of which help develop understanding. There are lots of 'classroom stories' where real examples are used to illuminate theory. I found these to be particuarly useful as they demonstrate how to apply abstract theory to practice. As I am training to be a teacher not at educational theorist this connection is vital. This is a easy-to-understand, practical text which, along with it's sister book 'Primary English - Knowledge and Understanding', will fully prepare you for QTS. My advice is: buy it now!

This is a lovely little book full of nice colour pictures. If you are completely brand new to chicken keeping this book is a good starter for you - it was to me! You'll soon find though that you'll be looking for one with a bit more detail and specific information.

If you are considering which motorcycle riding manual to get, get this one this is by far the best. It is useful at lower and higher levels for all riders, if evey rider read this book deaths in motorcycle accidents would be far less common.
Its easy to understand, its very informative. It covers all aspects of riding a motorcycle safley. Compared with many of the other manuals out there this is the most comprehensive, practical and easy to follow. It can be useful for new learner bikers and experienced bikers.
I recommend this to anyone who has a motorcycle we all should own it.

I bought this book for my son who was very interested in letters and reading but was not really learning to read in nursery - i must say it's really really good. Great advice about how to approach teaching, lots of printables, colouring pages, things to stick in workbooks, tricky words - we had great fun, and very straight forward for people who're not professional teachers. This book has more than enough material that you won't need to buy anything else, but we liked it so much we bought the workbooks too.
I now use it with my second child and i'm looking to move up to the grammer handbook for my eldest.

Great book, great for all levels - good mix of theorists, excellent links to more information. Good links to those who oppose the theorists cited and why - would recommend as a good basic book for any level of learning

I am on an intense plumbing course and was struggling to read though paragraphs of text from other books. I'm so glad I found this book. Plumbing, being a practical subject, isn't always easy to follow in written form, but they have really broken the subject down. They use lots of bullet points (instead of just paragraphs) which make it easier to visualise and follow; larger type, which I find makes it easier and quicker to read; clear headings, so you are able to find the topic you want quickly; as well as lots of pictures, diagrams, tables, etc.
Plumbing NVQ and Technical Certificate: Level 2 by JTL also cuts out a lot of unnecessary waffle, but if you don't feel you have gone into something in enough depth then you can always refer back to the ... Read More:
